Why this desk exists

Independent notes on Clash of Clans, written so a war plan survives the next patch

Hearthline started as a shared notebook for clanmates who were tired of videos that skipped the upgrade time. It grew into a public fan guide with the same rule: if the client disagrees, the client wins.

We stick to systems you can open in the game: Home Village, Builder Base, Clan Capital, the Hero Hall, the Blacksmith, and the Laboratory. Supercell owns Clash of Clans. We do not. We do not sell gems, recover accounts, or host unofficial builds. Corrections and story tips can go to [email protected] or +44 (0) 7511 776 795.

Checked against the client

Hero caps and building levels are re-read after Supercell’s update posts, not copied from old spreadsheets

Plain attack language

Funnel, siege entry, spell timing, and hero ability — named the way the army screen names them

No trophy promises

A guide can explain Legend League. It cannot promise you will stay there

What guides the writing

Name the building, name the cost type, and leave the hype in the trash

Gold, Elixir, and Dark Elixir are different wallets. A tip that mixes them is a bad tip. We label which one an upgrade drinks.

The same habit covers time. A Book of Heroes skips days, not Dark Elixir. A Hammer of Building does the same for a structure. Clan Games medals, CWL medals, and raid medals are not interchangeable, and a paragraph that pretends they are gets rewritten. That is the whole editorial standard: specific, current, and boringly accurate.

Reader notes

What chiefs write back

Reader Elena Morales

Elena Morales

“Hearthline reads like a clanmate who checked the patch notes. The Queen unlock at Town Hall 8 was written without pretending the site is Supercell.”

Reader Javier Contreras

Javier Contreras

“I send newer clanmates the resource explainer. They stop spending Dark Elixir on a wall and Gold on a hero, which was half our war problem.”

Reader Sofia Herrera

Sofia Herrera

“The Capital page treats raid weekend as a clan project. That tone is why our district upgrades stopped being a surprise on Monday.”
