Diggy reaches level 15, and two Town Hall 18 defenses pick up a supercharge

Supercell’s 30 August 2026 update is a short one, and that is why it is easy to misread. At Town Hall 18 the pet Diggy gains levels 11 through 15. The Builder’s Hut and the Monolith pick up new supercharge tiers. Nothing in the official post lists a fresh Town Hall. If your village is still climbing toward 18, this patch will not hand you a new hall — it deepens the one you already have.

The same notes retire the Starter Pass. Chiefs already inside one can finish it. Season Challenges then begin at Town Hall 3, so a new village sees teaching tasks earlier instead of waiting for a late-game menu. Gold Pass purchases also open at Town Hall 3, and both Season Pass and Gold Pass rewards scale with your hall. Hearthline does not sell that pass. The price you see is the one inside Supercell’s client for your store.

Diggy’s new levels and the two supercharges are Town Hall 18 toys. The interesting change for everyone else is that Season Challenges now start at Town Hall 3.

Quality-of-life lines are easy to skip and worth keeping. Wall Rings no longer need a free builder, which matters when all of yours are buried in hero time. The Revive Spell can be cast on a fallen hero’s pulsing icon, dropping that hero back where they fell. Hero Journey quests that demanded a specific epic equipment piece can fall back to a common piece for the same hero if you do not own the epic. The fast-forward button can be switched off in advanced settings. Clan mates can still contribute gold to the Capital treasury.

What the patch does not promise

Supercell’s post does not print Diggy’s upgrade cost or the exact stat jump on the new supercharges. Those numbers live in the client. Treat any spreadsheet that appeared the same afternoon as a rumour until you open the Pet House yourself. Clan War League modifiers were adjusted in the same update; read the in-game league screen before you promise your clan a medal count based on last month. Dragon Duke’s Rocket Backpack dash and the Flame Blower’s facing were among the fixes, so a replay from July can lie about August.

How to read it in your own village

Open the Pet House if you are Town Hall 14 or higher and see whether Diggy offers levels past 10. If the button stops at 10, you are not at the Town Hall 18 pet cap yet, and that is normal. Check the Builder’s Hut and the Monolith for a supercharge toggle only after the building itself is maxed for your hall. New chiefs should look for Season Challenges from Town Hall 3 rather than hunting a Starter Pass that the update is retiring.

We will add a follow-up if September’s Season Challenge test reaches every new village, because Supercell said that rollout would not hit every chief at once. Until then, the Handbook keeps the standing caps: King and Queen 110, twelve pets, level 19 walls. Questions about a figure go to [email protected]. This note is a fan reading of a Supercell patch, not a patch from Supercell.

Diggy stopped at level 10 on my Town Hall 16 account, which matches what you wrote. I almost dumped raid medals into a rumour table before I opened the Pet House. The Revive Spell tip is the line our clan chat actually needed.

Our Town Hall 18s can see the new Diggy levels. The Monolith supercharge showed up only after the building was already maxed, so the note about checking the client first was right.

Thanks Tom — if the supercharge toggle is missing, the building is probably not at the Town Hall 18 max yet. Email [email protected] with the building level you see and we will compare it with the patch post. Costs still are not in Supercell’s public note, so we will not invent them here. Newer chiefs should look at Season Challenges from Town Hall 3 instead. Gold Pass, if you want it, stays inside the official game.

Checked a Town Hall 13 alt and Season Challenges were already there. No Starter Pass tile. That is the part of the update our newer members will feel first.

Wall Rings really do not ask for a free builder anymore. I spent a ring while the Hero Hall was busy and the wall still started. Small change, huge on a max-wall grind.

Revive on the hero icon saved a queen charge that used to end when she walked into the wrong compartment. Glad the note mentioned the pulsing icon instead of a vague “spell buff.”
